Conference presentation on speculative archaeologies at the Theoretical Archaeology Group conference in Cardiff – part of a special panel on archaeology and sci-fi. My paper looked at two of my biggest obsessions: Chris Marker’s seminal short film La Jetee and Nicolas de Crecy’s wonderful graphic novel Glacial Period.
